📝: Super pretty pastries, the prettiest ones I’ve had this trip. Such a cute shop as well, tucked away in the busy Umeda Station area.
❤️: Heavenly, flakey mille feuille filled with custard and lemon curd, topped with meringue on the outside. Worth every mouthful. As pretty as it was, it did not beat the lemon cake for me, which was both sweet and tangy, such a delicious harmony of flavours!
One bad thing was the lack of dine in area. You can’t walk and eat in Japan so I think it’s essential for stores to have enough seats. Grenier only has a small tiny bench, which did not fit the customers at all. You can of course take it away and eat it later, but the mille feuille won’t be fresh any more.
