Fun with Too many Baby Tigershttps://youtu.be/wsQ-8rhJtHM https://fb.watch/442gCaX5HW/ This time it was different. At first, I was reluctant, not another tiger zoo… again. I have been to so many. It is all part of daddy duty. Bring your kids to the zoo, the safari, the aquarium, the pony rides, the place with lots of animals, blah blah blah and then more blah. But… this time, it was really different. It was the second day of New Year. Winter, the air was pleasantly cool. And being Covid season, there were only a few visitors on the morning we were here. We were led into a private spacious playpen and the cubs were just all over the floor. Kind of like visiting a cat café with cats sized like they were on steroids. Each chubby and fluffy, they were clumsily strolling around. Some playing on their own in their little cat fights, and some followed us as we walked around. Instead of those tiger photo taking sessions in other zoos which lasted just mere minutes for a few clicks of the shutter, instead of being rushed on for the next in the queue, we were in the playpen, for a good half hour. And we could stay longer if we wanted. I had no idea the fun we can have until I was here. It was hilariously enjoyable having baby tigers surround my kid as the staffs cheered on for smiles. The photographer sprawled awkwardly on the floor for some good angles. Wife had a tiger blanket her, I had cubs surround me. We fed the cubs, we pat the cubs and we grabbed any that walked by us and hugged them good. There were 5 friendly staffs together with us. Each was an entertaining character. They coaxed the tigers as the shutter clicked. It was not just all about pictures. At times, we just sat leisurely to enjoy the company of baby tigers playing all over the place. The cubs made their screechy infant roar among our casual chats with the staffs. I never knew they made sounds like these. This was the highlight of the trip. Hua Hin Safari & Adventure Park, secluded and starting to growing in popularity, is a mixed of many things on a small plot of land between hills (small if you compared it to the other safaris). The other main activities are the giraffes and the elephants. A handful of parrots, an orangutan and a monkey of I don’t know what kind that loves kids, offered the other amusing close encounters we had. There is tiger show from time to time (not the Pattaya kind.. .. ), and the elephant ride. The feeding pond turned a kaleidoscope of colors as the other family fed the Kois. We saw crocodiles too, not in the Koi pond of course. A nice café watches over the giraffes, we had our lunch and my morning coffee. Then it was back into the park again, to the tiger zone where we fed adult tigers some chicken. The entire place is very well kept like a resort. There was no clutter of any sort which indicates neglected animal welfare. Spacious, no overcrowding of animals, they were all jovial creatures. Elephants have the whole backyard of bushland for their walks. There are several packaged rates for visitors. Please, please choose the 800 THB full option. If the animals are to enjoy the immaculate environment we enjoyed, they will need funds. The other source of funds they have are from selling the photos from the baby tiger playpen episode, which I gladly bought. The full option entrance fee may be high if you compare it to other safaris of much larger expanse, animal varieties and activities. But what we got here was exclusive. It changed my mind about zoo safaris. I had never liked them until now. One can spend a whole day here, and with the full option package, we can even revisit the baby tiger playpen anytime for more fun. Here are my recommendations: Winter is a good time to be here. I can’t imagine coming in hotter months and becoming a sweltering pile of sweat (this does not mean don’t come here in other months.. . .. ). A normal weekday and early morning will be strategic time to visit. Because this place will soon turn into a trend. I am betting the exclusive vibes we had will soon be a thing of the past when the crowds grow. Go for the full option package, it will be worth it, plus the animals need it. Please keep the place clean. Because it is a really nice safari zoo. I will be back, the next winter with my camera.... อ่านต่อ
