The menu offers a small variety of mouth-watering Isaan food, very afforable and i would say best value for money. The menu offers a small variety of mouth-watering starters. I had the Yum with salted eggs dipped in authentic isaan sauce. They were exquisit. The main course consisted in a Laab Nuea with with sticky rice and some really nice Kho Moo Yaang and Sua Rong Hae, which really thrilled us. (The ingredients/the wine/the prices) All the products were fresh and the dishes had the warmth of home-made food. I am sure chefs takes great care in selecting the best quality raw material. The restaurant also caters for small group parties by providing a very few variety of alcohol of the region, but you can bring your own if you are into any beer or liquor that are pricy. As we planned to be very local so we sticked with Leo Beers with Ice. Beer was as cheap as 60 baht. The dishes we ordered were for I think 60 baht each. Ice was for 20 baht and Sticky Rice 10 baht. Thats value for money and infact super cheap. (The service/the waiters/the owner) Service and accomodation and environment is not good as the high quality of the cooking. Just keep in mind that you are going to a Thai village side tevern to enjoy the food. You can hardly get a smile out of the waitress. Thankfully the owner is always around willing to exchange some kind words with all her clients. (Recommendation) Despite the not so clean ambience and very basic place. I had a pleasant dining experience with food of the most exquisite flavours. For this reason I highly recommend going to this tavern.
