A bit underwhelming, but no major complaintsMaybe I hold Rosewood to a higher standard than I should, but compared to their other properties’ bars I was underwhelmed here. The space is a bit small for a high end hotel bar, no space for live music either. There is a space for a DJ though.
Ordered an old fashioned and one of their special drinks, the Lennon. Old fashioned was beautiful, but honestly didn’t taste that great. The Lennon was interesting, some heavy lime flavor definitely suited towards those who like some sour drinks.
Service was excellent as I would expect at this kind of place, no complaints there. The free potato chips they give you taste really nice as well.
I guess, nothing was bad with this place at all, I was just super underwhelmed with it being a rosewood bar. I expected better tasting drinks, a larger space with potentially live music, and 360 degree views.
You only get views towards the south and a little bit to the east. granted those views are quite nice, you can’t look directly down because of the shape of the building.
The theme is really cool. Everything is styled around a 1980s record shop. There tons of old style speakers, vinyl, and 8tracks. They really stick to the theme and it shows, awesome job on that!
