Day 1
In the evening, go for a walk along the Mekong River. At Chiang Khan Walking Street Or Chai Khong Road, a lot of people, the atmosphere is lively. Watch the evening atmosphere and shop for food. Located on the lower road in Mueang Chiang Khan District, Loei Province, is a night market on the banks of the Mekong River. A distance of about 1.5 kilometers, both sides of the road are full of old wooden houses, which have now been converted into hotels, restaurants and various shops, including food, clothing, collectibles and art. Here are fried rice, shrimp and crab skewers, pad thai, dumplings, etc. The locals are very kind and lovely. Some people also recommend delicious food to me that is also affordable. After I finished eating, I walked around and did some shopping. My friend and I kept walking and found a souvenir shop. There are a lot of postcards in the shop and there are also beautiful hand-woven silks. It took about an hour and a half and I walked back to the hotel with food and many souvenirs. Late at night, the weather is cool outside, beautiful view at the hotel, the service staff are very nice and lovely. I came out to breathe in the air and see the view. Relax for a while and then come back to bed. It's a trip that my friends and I enjoy and are very impressed.
