Rice Porridge With Fish And Soft-boiled Egg
Bland-tasting rice porridge with some weird smellJoke see yak som phet is the rice porridge restaurant located opposite to the faculty of dentistry, Chiang Mai University. Open daily from 6.00 till 21.00 . The menu is consisted of a variety of rice porridge, soft-boiled rice and stewed pork leg with rice. Today I tried rice porridge with fish and soft-boiled egg for 50 Baht a bowl. The amount of a bowl was moderate when compared to the price. The overall taste was so bland that I had to add some soy sauce and pepper. There was also some strange smell on a porridge. The rice texture was a bit delicate. The fish was in medium freshness, soft texture with fishbones in some pieces. Overall, I didn't like its taste because it was too insipid and had some smell. I won't recommend this restaurant to anyone at all.
