📝: With experience as chef in many top Australian restaurants around the country, chef Murat Ovaz started Yagiz. his first solo project. It was awarded a prestigious AGFG Hat after being open for just 10 weeks.
Ovaz says "Much like classic Turkish food, Yagiz brings people together. I wanted to create an unpretentious atmosphere, where refined dining could be enjoyed in a warm and vibrant atmosphere with no fuss. Expect to experience all the flavours of Turkey with a modern, unique twist."

My favorite would be no other than these Grilled Prawns. Look at that char on it. Just perfect. Another signature dish is the Tarama with Fraser island crab meat and trout roe.
The dessert was also a highlight—baklava filo pastry with praline ice cream. Classic and simple, but definitely delightful.
