I initially went in to have my toenails trimmed, and the technician told me it would cost 200 baht. However, after noticing I had an ingrown toenail, she informed me the price would be 450 baht, which I agreed to.During the procedure, it was quite painful because she was working on a dry toe. I asked how much it would be to clean or soak the feet, hoping it would soften the skin and reduce the pain. She said it would be 200 baht, and I agreed again. But instead of soaking or cleansing, she only used an electric nail file — no water or any softening products were used.
The whole process lasted only about 15 minutes and cost 650 baht. It didn’t feel worth the price, especially since my toe ended up bleeding quite a lot. It also felt rushed, possibly because it was close to closing time.if the technician wasn’t willing or able to do the service properly, it would have been better to just say no rather than do it in a hurry.
