Like a kid goes to Disneyland for the first timeCaprice Allllllllllrighttttttt peopleeeeee! The restaurant that I've been waiting to write about for 4 months! As the first step I had taken into the restaurant, I can feel the energy, charm, magic, elegance and the beauty of this famous place. The staffs took care of me since the first conversation between me and them was begun. "Mind your step ,sir" the waiter kindly said to me as I walked down a little stair. They did every single thing that the 6 stars standard restaurant's staffs should do. I was very very impress! The veiw of Victoria Bay was just stunning, also from my table I can watch chefs work in the kitchen. The restaurant itself is Gold-White tone, the setting as well. (Their plate costs ฿5000 or more!) Now about food; I admit that I forget the name of some dishes lol First, Amuse Bouche : It was like deep fried meat ball with cheese foam. It was very rich and full of flavour. Entree : Chilled Risotto and Cappacio Scallop. Basically, it's cold Risotto and raw scallops with olive oil and citrus. The risotto was rich but not really special. The scallops were very fresh with good amount of olive oil, and not too much lemon. Eat them with micro salad was amazing. Main dish, Canadian Lobster in Bolongnaise Style with Avruga Cavair. Al-Dente pasta. Bolongnaise was seasoned beautifully. It went so well with lobster. Fresh lobster gave nice sweet flavour. Cavair gave the smell of the sea and different texture. Dessert, Chestnut Mille-Feuille with Blackcurrant Confit and Sorbet. Seriously, I can't taste chestnut lol But the puff pastry was the best I've ever had in my entire life, it was thick and crispy. The sorbet was very delicious but melted too fast lol Petite Four. I love the idea of chef Nicholas that he took a classic Hong Kong Polo Bun to another level. He's turned them into bite size and add coconut cream. Very delicious. For Citrus Macaron, I had tried a lot of Macarons, sometimes make them by myself. These Citrus Macarons are the best EVER. They were not so sweet but balance. For Chocolate, they were average. I went their on Sunday, so, they serve a glass of complimentary wine. I choose a glass of white wine. Even though it was free, the wine was soo good! Damn, I will go back there for sure!... อ่านต่อ
