One of the best cake house in town!!!!!! Great selection of cute tasty cakes!📝: Who here is a cake fan? Brooklyn Baker, situated in the lobby of Retreat on Vithayu spa, is known for its pretty and tasty custom-made cakes.
This humble little cafe is so peaceful yet cozy, giving you the sense of serenity at home as you walk in. With looking out to the little garden and small water fountains, this is the best cafe experience you could ask for.
❤️: Brooklyn Baker, by far, is one of my favorite cafes of all time. With such a cute selection of Brooklyn inspired cakes with a Thai flavor twist freshly baked out of the oven daily, it was so hard to choose. They were all so pretty! Could’ve ordered one of each, but okay, I need to restrain myself a little 😂.
We ended up with Coconut Sesame with Mango Topping, and Lemon Cream Cake. Soft lemon zest sponge cake with blueberry sour cream frosting. Topped with butter cookie crumbs and fresh blueberry.
Out of all the tasty selections of brunch dishes, I opted for a Thai inspired one—the Baker’s Rice Bowl.
Over night marinated chicken on white Jasmine rice mixed with Thai mixed herbs and the cafe’s homemade Jaew (Tamarind sauce). That Jaew sauce is insane—mildly spicy and sour, aromatic with the smell of herbs. Top it off with a sunny side up egg and fried shallots.
