Canvas Cafe is situated in the same road where all the travellers will pass before going to Nusa Penida and Nusa Lembongan.
The cafe offers various breakfast selections and great coffee where guests can spend their time to have breakfast whilst waiting for the boat.
It is also designed for the busy bees who need a virtual office with soothing and comfy ambiance.
Canvas Cafe serves a selection of dishes created by award winning Chef Marcel Sumarga. From breakfast to lunch, bakeries, smoothies, or simply coffee, they’ve got it covered.
We ordered the Honey Pepper Beef Rice Bowl, Smoothie Bowl, Asian Pork Porridge, Canvas Spaghetti Bolognese, and a cute little Bread Pudding.
Sadly, the dishes did not taste good at all. The smoothie bowl had a very pudding-like texture and wasn’t even cold at all—it was room temperature. there was barely any taste and was really bland.
The porridge and the topping did not go together at all. I mean, there were seeds and all kinds of different things on it and we found it pretty weird, unlike the porridges we usually eat in Thailand.
The bakeries didn’t pass either. The taste and texture did not feel fresh, and wasn’t tasty at all. very disappointed.
