📝: Melvin is a pretty-in-pink little cafe in Collingwood, sister cafe to Flemington’s Wolf and Hound.
What could be better than brunching and spending time with your sister on a weekend? Well, it’s sharing a jar of an awesome smoothie 🥭 and fighting for the other to have as much of it even though both of us each wanted to devour it so badly 🤣 Don’t you agree? @crushinglimits
The place might seem small from the outside, but you’ll notice a small, narrow pathway that leads out to the large, bright, open courtyard in the back.
They’re confident in their own recipe to provide you quality dishes and drinks.
Different from the laidback, humble Wolf and Hound, this baby sister cafe is buzzling, and full of life. It’ll give you a different kind of experience, unique just to Melvin.
❤️: The menu has just recently changed, welcoming the coming new season. Menu ranges from an array of the cafe’s signature toasties, with new additions of dishes such as the Apple Pie Roti, Berry Smoothie Bowl, etc.
My favorite of the day goes to the Mango Smoothie blended with coconut milk that comes in a cute jar. Both a filling and tasty smoothie that lighted up our whole meal.
Another worth mentioning dish was the toasties. Recommend ordering two or three, stacking them up for a quick shot. And GOBBLE IT DOWN!
