Stir-fried Morning glory with shrimp paste
A great restaurant serving a unique take on Thai CuisineThis restaurant is set near the river in the heart of the old town. A small and quaint restaurant in a rustic yet modern setting, matching the menu they present. I have dined here a couple of times and have enjoyed every meal. I really like their menu and the variety of textures and flavours available to the customer.
My favourites out from the kitchen would be the Deep-fried garlic & jasmine rice cured ocean fish, Stir-fried Mussel with chili jam & Thai basil, Salad of deep-fried organic egg, Crispy and Cruncy five-spice braised pork trotter served with orange chili vinegar dressing and the Braised Minced pork with eggplants on steamed egg custard. I only wished they had more dessert options. The restaurant has a nice small bar with some interesting cocktails worth a try.
Although this place charges more than most average Thai restaurants, the unique well rounded menu with tasty dishes all round, crafted with attention to detail and a nice comfortable modern setting certainly make this restaurant worth trying.
