A lovely day trip to a beautiful winery.The restaurant at Monsoon Vineyard was large and busy and boisterous, which is to be expected in a place that makes its own wine. We were seated with a reservation after a short wait. The dining area is comfortable and has a great view of a portion of the winery’s property. We saw some of the winery experts walking around inspecting the growing crop and lots of tours and crowds exploring the grounds. The food was tasty but the pricing is typical of a vineyard restaurant (on the high side). We ordered some delicious pasta, a seafood salad, and a papaya salad, along with some calamari and assorted other appetizers, with freshly churned ice cream for dessert. Everything was delicious and the service was very attentive. If you’re in Hua Hin for a few days, making the trek out to the vineyard is a fun option. Just make sure you’re not the one driving so you’re able to sample their wines. As an aside, the grape juice is quite tasty.
