.
📝: Ho Jiak is comparable to the Malay of Sydney, bursting with rich Malaysian flavors (and a long queue as well!). Ho Jiak perfects the combination of Penang street food and generous family style Nyonya feasts.
.
The menu, with unique creative twists, have been crafted from traditional recipes passed down and perfected from generation to generation.
.
These innovative dishes still retain the depth of Chinese Malaysian flavors that will surely satiate that appetite of yours to the fullest.
.
❤️: At Ho Jiak Haymarket, feast on their signature spicy stir fried rice noodles with seafood and Chinese sausage, with the flavorsome taste and wok aroma combined, this is absolutely one of the best Char Koay Tiews you could find in Sydney.
.
Visiting Ho Jiak, you definitely cannot miss their Indomie Goreng—spicy stir fried instant noodles with seafood. There’s a wide selection to choose from, and I guarantee they all taste amazing!
.
If you can still stuff yourself with some more delicious foods, opt for the rich, spicy Laksa curry noodles topped with a perfect yolk oozing egg. Amazing.
Last but not least, Nyonya’s High Tea is served from 2.30-5PM. The menu changes daily, featuring a wide selection of Nyonya’s style authentic Malaysian sweet delicacies. Take a sip from a warm cup of tea while tasting all the different delicate desserts prepared exactly like how a Nyonya would back in Malaysia.
.
It’s a truly unique experience, especially to dine in the midst of a restaurant inspired by the owner’s grandma’s home—a place full of love and laughter.
To sum it up, this meal was probably the most impressive during my trip to Sydney this time. @hojiak.haymarket is a definite must for anyone visiting Sydney.
