Texas Chicken (เท็กซัส ชิคเก้น) เซ็นทรัลพลาซา เวสต์เกต

Ok, Let me be honest here! I am the great grandson of the Colonel Sanders of Kentucky from my mothers side. They will both haunt me after I make this review but I can not help it! This is the best thing that has ever happened to Bang Yai and will be the most popular place to eat chicken since chickens were ever first eaten... Every time I walk by Texas Chicken there is always a line (que). I dared not to go in because my Momma said if I ever went to any chicken restaurant other than my Great Grandfather Sanders she would make me sleep in the chicken coop! I walk in and look at the menu and think why they selling this so cheap? I can get a 2 piece chicken dinner with Honey Biscuit, french fries and coke got only 99 Baht? So I order a 4 piece because the chicken is always so small at KFC and Chesters Grill! They fix my order and get it to me real fast. I get my tray and there is an empty cup! I ask the beautiful girl on the counter and she said you get your drink yourself and refill it as often as you want if you are thirsty! I thought to myself ..Did I just die and go to Heaven? I get my drink and start eating my chicken then I look and see these giant pieces of chicken that you would think they come from a turkey. I could not believe my eyes how big these pieces of chicken were! I ate one, then 2 and started on the third piece but no more.. These Chicken pieces were just to big and too much to eat. I asked the beautiful girl again for a take out box so I could take these home to enjoy later and no problem! She said " you look like someone very familiar".. I told her Yes , yes. I am the Great Grandson on my mommy side of the original owner of KFC ....the Colonel Sanders. I told her not to make a scene. Well let me finish this by saying... I left there with a full stomach and a strange feeling that my Momma and Great Grandfather were really disappointed and looking at me as I went down the escalator at Westgate. I walked by Chester Grill and it seemed empty then a few shops down at the KFC in the front of the building it was almost empty too! No wonder I just had the greatest Chicken in Bang Yai and the word must be getting out! In conclusion... My Great Grandfather had 2 rules. 1.Do all you can. 2. Do it the best you can. It's the only way you ever get that feeling of accomplishing something. I think that Texas Chicken heard that too! YEEEEEE HAWWWWWW!
