Sin Hock Heng Teochew Porridge Geyland Lor 37

If you are looking for a place to induge in a variety of selection of small dishes, this is a perfect place. Located at the corner of Geylang Lor 37, Sin Hock Heng has the best porridge and dishes around that area. This place is open around 5/6 pm to 4am. Best time is 11ish to 1am where there are lots of food left. The must have is Ha Bee Hiem, a shrimp paste that goes well with both porridge and bread. If you are lucky they have the small mini steamed fish...sooooo gooood. Porridge cannot go without veggies, the best will be "chai buay" (veggie stalk). What I like is pork intestines and kaa moo (pork leg). Their fish ball (tube) also goes well witn the soybean sauce. Best of all, its cheap compared to other food in singapore. Its only 18-22 dollars per meal for 3 people. 500++ baht
